Irisa went for outing!! and FIRST WORDS!!

Went to Ikea last weekend to get her first HIGH CHAIR!! oh, tat is so we can eat as a family!!! hahahah...
simply love tt idea.. and for the first time, we try to put her on the BB/Toddler seat of a trolley.. she can really sit there..
but she is so curious abt the trolley tt she keep lurging forward, thus we decided tt it cld be another couple of weeks before she will really be abt to sit there STILL!!

yesterday we brought irisa to my sis place to celebrate her cousin's bday.. had a 'food-filling' day there.. had some yam paste, minus the coconut milk, egg tofu... and then i tried to make porridge again for her as dinner to test test.. tis time round mummy made it realy thick and sticky, similar to the cereal texture and she loved it..
finished 2 scoops (those scoop for steamboat) and seems satisfied with it.. so i brought her to AMK Hub this morning to get more ingredients.. minced meat, carrots, potatoes & dried scallops... yummy.. the porridge today, even myself love it... she also finished 2 scoops.. and today only had 2 feedings of milk.. once in the morning before goin AMK Hub and 1 before sleep!! wow!! really saved $$$... we brought her to the COFFEE place at AMK Hub and gave her some soft-boiled eggs cum bread and she enjoyed it... cant wait for the day when i can finally cut down on the milk-buying.. nowsaday, i wonder wat they put in the milk powder... hw come getting so expensive!!!

Cakes & Pastries Time

Brought home some pastries and cakes yesterday... Irisa loves them... I gave her 2 bites of the cheesecake and she simply wants more!! she refuse to budge and keep staring at the box of cakes.. Oh my!! and when i walked away, she looked at the box and pout and see if we were looking at her.. Captured her moments, pouting at the cakes.. Recalling that, i simply can burst into laughter.... I think she is also a cheesecake lover as mummy...

today brought her to swensen's... Mummy's wrist injured and thus no cooking.. Had dinner there.. Irisa had mashed potatoes accompanied by Cream of Mushroom Soup!!.. Yummy huh...
She really enjoyed the dinner!!

Irisa can sit on a BB high chair and read menu

Have started letting her sit on high chair, but this time round, she surprise both mummy & daddy. we were so shocked....
she started to take the menu in front of her and looks as if she knws hw to read.. oh my, nowsaday, children or rather Babies are learning fast..
i wonder what other things she gonna do too.. nw she start to make sound like 'jie jie' and also start to respond better...
esp at 'mum mum', meaning got food for u....

Irisa turns 6 month old

Been a while since I have updated Irisa growth. Been rather busy lately with work, Irisa, home etc... Tried to upload some of irisa recent pic but unable to do so..

Here are her updates:

1) Irisa can sit on a Baby Chair!!! We brought her to Brozteit German Bar at Vivo and for the first time, she sat on a Baby Chair... Bad part of the place was, it was too rowdy for a Baby... But still, she manage to stay thru and we still can blow the candles....

2) Irisa learns to flip now. Can make 'Ahh', 'Woo' & 'Ma-alike' sound
Nw she will sit in her walker, run about freely, wait at the door step when its near the timing that I come home from work everyday. She will 'Woo-woo' when she wan to drink milk. She will come to mummy, daddy and great-grandma when she wants to sleep and ask you to carry her to the room for her nap.. Such a dearie

3) Irisa started her cereals and porridge but she dun like porridge
She knows how to eat biscuits, fish, porridge and cereal. Bascially everyday she will have 2 feedings of cereal and the rest are her normal milk feedings. Tried givin her porridge with potato & carrot but she dun like so we went back to just cereal n milk. And every meal time, she will wait beside you and see if she gets any treats.. Such a glutton.. Our next target, a high chair for her to use at home for meal times....

4) Irisa knws how to splash water during bath time

5) Irisa can really hold her own milk bottle when drinking..
But of cos not for a long period cos I think she still haven really have that 'stamina' yet

6) She is a wrecker at home.
She want to touch the SCV box, things on the coffee table, goes underneath the dining table and look really happy down there, want to go into the kitchen, and best thing, she knws how to slide the sliding door open and close for the TV cabinet.. She will pulls off the 'safety latch' and 'safety corners' off the TV cabinet.... She ah, also like to grab things, pull daddy, mummy hair, great-grandma specs.. Oh my...
